A silver 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is currently available through an online auction and could be perfect for anyone not willing to wait months to take delivery of their own or to order and wait for a 2021 model.
The listing reveals that this is one of just 2,700 examples of the C8 Corvette Stingray that were produced in the months before General Motors was forced to halt production due to the coronavirus pandemic. It remains unclear who the original owner of the car was, but it has just 11 miles (17.7 km) on the clock, which means it hasn’t been driven at all.
The exterior is painted in Blade Silver metallic while the leather interior is finished in Adrenaline Red, with the Mecum listing adding the vehicle has the available 2LT Equipment Group. Among the car’s key features are power heated and ventilated seats, the Carbon Flash badge package, HD front camera, reversing camera, Head-Up Display, 14-speaker Bose audio system, and 19-inch front and 20-inch rear Silver-painted aluminum wheels.
Unlike many other C8 Corvette Stingrays that we’ve seen delivered in recent months, this one doesn’t feature the Z51 package. It also lacks any of the available rear spoilers which, to our eyes, makes the rear-end seem a little naked. However, the gorgeous red leather in the cabin more than makes up for this.
At the time of writing, bidding was sitting at $65,000. While that price is above the car’s $59,995 MSRP, it is much less than what some dealerships are asking for lightly-used C8s – although, with three days left in the auction, it will probably go up.
