Volkswagen together with SiriusXM have announced that the latter’s most advanced audio entertainment platform, SiriusXM with 360L, will make its way to most of the German carmaker’s 2021MY vehicles.
Every VW model equipped with the all-new third generation modular infotainment platform (MIB3) will offer SiriusXM with 360L, including the 2021 Arteon, Atlas Cross Sport, Golf GTI, Jetta, Jetta GLI and Tiguan. The restyled Atlas, which just came out this spring, will get MIB3 and these new updates as a mid-year update for 2021.5MY.
Also, if you’re on your way to purchase or lease a 2021MY VW, you’ll get a three month trial subscription to SiriusXM’s top tier All Access package.
SiriusXM with 360L offers drivers and passengers access to more than 10,000 hours of On Demand content, such as exclusive interviews, unique shows and even live performances. It also features more live channels and an extensive selection of ad-free music, sports, entertainment, news and more.
“We are excited to begin the rollout of SiriusXM with 360L in model year 2021 Volkswagens,” said SiriusXM VP Chris Paganini. “SiriusXM with 360L’s hybrid content delivery system gives drivers access to even more of the SiriusXM content they love, and a new level of personalization, right at their fingertips in Volkswagen’s easy-to-navigate infotainment system.”
Now that European soccer is back and certain U.S. sports leagues, like NBA, are making their comeback too, you’ll be able to enjoy enhanced sports play-by-play, with access to official broadcasts for both professional and college teams.
